Charlotte Church

Charlotte Church is a Welsh singer who achieved prominence with her debut album "Voices of Angels" when she was only twelve years old. She has been a talented actor and singer who has also has hosted TV shows. She showed a flair of singing since a very young age, and was singing publically since she was just three and five years old. She started out as an hymn singer, and eventually was able to sing "Pie Jesu" by phone for a television show around the age 11. In the following year, she appeared on "The Big Big Talent Show" in which she caught the interest of the public at large. The opportunity came to sing in performances in Cardiff Arms Park and the Royal Albert Hall. Jonathan Shalit was one of the most prominent entertainment managers in Britain who saw the potential of Charlotte. Jonathan was able to help Charlotte get a Sony Music contract and then was her manager. Her debut album, 'Voice Of an Angel' that debuted in 1999 became an instant sensation, becoming the youngest performer to achieve the No. #1 album on the British classic crossover charts. The singer has seen her acclaim grow over the past few years.
